Just saw the posting on their site that they canceled the March 7 job fair. Anyone know why? Just curious

Thanks!

Too bad it was. I was trying to convince some friends to come out and interview.

she's been here in the past. Now, I'm open to any suggestions for her to make the best use of her time...anyone she can contact directly and speak to. She's such a wonderful Kindergarten teacher. I'd love it if she could teach here in Steiner, but I know that's asking for a lot. She's a great networker. Anyone know anyone she could cold call and ask for an interview?

you can find out the names of any principal by just looking up the local ISD info on-line

are you active in PTA for schools your children attend--can you ask your own principal about any vacancies in local ISD

I am an LISD teacher. The district has to place our surplus teachers and look at indistrict transfer requests first. Some of the issue is also the economy and slower growth than expected. I imagine new to district employees will be interviewed after this process...a little later than usual...perhaps in June or July.
