We just recently relocated to Austin in July and I'm needing help finding a really really really good hair stylist that specializes in long hair perms. Does anyone know of one or know someone they could ask who gets long hair perms that turn out looking great everytime? If so please let me know... THANKS!

Call him and ask! Saw one he did on TV just yesterday afternoon. Looked VERY natural. He also does my girlfriend's hair. She doesn't have a perm, but her hair has never looked as "professional". Make sense? Just looks like it should. And I've never heard her complain. Can't say that for all the other places she's been to.

After calling the salon yesterday I found out that yes while Rod does sound very good... he wants 300 for a hair cut. OUCH! Especially seeing as how I have long hair and all I need is a trim. At that salon they also try to avoid chemically treating hair. I have had long curly for over 15 years and my hair still looks great and is very healthy. Thats why its so important for me to find the right hair stylist so my hair doesn't get fried. Since this salon tries to talk people out of perming they probably don't have a lot of experience it in. So if anyone else has any suggestions I love to hear them.

I still do appreciate the tip. Im thinking about tryin the salon out for a highlight for some odd reason you can get a highlight for less than half the cost of a haircut :-)
