We had many problems with our home after we had purchased it. Everyone told me I would never get the builder back to fix the many problems. Over 300 nail pops, corner beading coming off, bulging walls, etc......... were just a few of the many problems we had encountered. I took the time to put POST ITS all over the walls showing every single nail pop I could find, arrows of all the bulges and corner beading. Our house was known for a while as the POST IT house. I notified the builder of all the problems and informed him that I would SHOW the house if problems were not fixed. I told the builder I would hold an open house until all problems were corrected. Needless to say, the builder came over and took a look at ALL the problems. Wish I had taken a picture of his expression when he saw the the POST ITS. I told him the POST ITS don't come down until all the work is completed. Word travels fast when you have dinner parties like we do. The builder complied and fixed ALL my problems. My advice is, you're the consumer and deserve nothing but the best that you pay for. Be strong and firm.

Just let the builder know that you will be holding an OPEN HOUSE if the repairs are not completed in a timely manner. The last thing the builder wants is people talking. Definitely worked for me. Make sure you talk to the CEO of the company or owner. GOOD LUCK!

You may want to go to Homeowners for Better Building.
TRCC was nothing more then a builder protection agency. Even if you filed a complaint most were not handled to the satisfaction of the homeowner.
Condos were not covered under TRCC anyway.
