I hear we have one on 71, but hasn't anyone actually been? If so, what where your thoughts? How many vendors are there? I wonder if there are any selling local meat?

I went quite awhile ago - they had a modest selection but what they had was decent quality. Frankly, I had forgotten about it. Is it year round? I need to check it out.

I went to check it out a few weekends ago while my Mom was visiting. It's not a typical farmers market, it's more like a natural/organic supermarket. It's a chain called Newflower Farmer's Market.

Having said that, the produce looked nice and they had several items there that I had never seen before (thai coconuts and some other fruits) and the prices looked ok (but I'm a man that doesn't shop enough to know the going rate for stuff)

If you search threads on Newflower Farmers' Market you will find several that have something to say about it.

No, this is an actual farmer's market with stalls - it's off Hwy 71:

Bee Cave Farmers Market

I'm aware of what a farmers market is, that's why I said "it's not a typical farmers market."

?

There is Newflower, which is a grocery store similar to Sprouts and Sun Harvest and there is the actual Bee Cave Farmer's Market. Newflower bills itself as a "Farmer's Market" because their strategy is to buy locally produced goods, but that's not all they sell.

The link I provided above is to the actual farmer's market which is a typical farmers market with stalls of vendors selling their local wares. Note on the map where it shows the Shops at the Galleria where Newflower is located and the farmers market down the road, West on 71.
