There's something similar like that with regards to the Aboriginal population from what I know. Its really just racial preferences which when you think about it is actually racist but since its minorities its ok, that gets a pass. Its hypocritical and wrong, but hey what do you expect from corrupt corporations...they just care about money and filling the "divertsity" status quo.
There is equal opportunity legislation in Australia.

So, you're completely vague on the details but have decided its racist. lol.
Indigenous people do get additional benefits/services that others don't. I don't generally have a problem with it as long as they're utilised constructively.
Google can answer that for you. The was legislation for gender-based programs in 1986. Race based discrimination is more complicated, this one is about indigenous people http://business.curtin.edu.au/local/...ssue2_Daly.pdf

AA is race preference, they are giving jobs to lower qualified ethnic/racial minorities. If it was the other way around do-gooder libs would say its "racist".

They are?
Who are they?
You're not Australian. There is no such thing as a "do-gooder lib" here
I'm talking about the policy of AA in general. I am from Australia and the so-called progressive & liberal ideology has become the ethos here too.
What is the official policy of affirmative action in Australia?

You said "they are giving jobs to lower qualified ethnic/racial minorities".
I'm interested in this statement. On what basis are you making it?
and I ask again - Who are "they?" and what jobs are they getting?
Oddly, I have never heard of "liberal ideology" used here in the same context as it is used in the states.
