Kurt Busch was fuming with Jimmie Johnson after two of NASCAR's top stars got into some late-race bumping Saturday night at Chicagoland Speedway that left each of them wondering if one has a problem with the other.
Angry at the contact, former champion Busch appeared to deliberately turn into Johnson. Their cars connected, causing a spark of excitement in a 400-mile race that Mark Martin won in mostly dominating fashion.
"The No. 2 (Busch) and I touched and he bodyslammed me after that," Johnson said.
Busch said he was starting to lose faith in Johnson's "ability to be a three-time champion on the track."
Lol if its not one Busch, its the other one going off on a temper tantrum
lol yeah thats true. Technically Jimmie didnt really do anything wrong he just got a lil loose. Everyone gets loose at some poit during a race. Kurt shouldn't have retaliated. But hey thats what makes racing fun and entertaining. people fighting for positions when it comes down to the wire. But when you got like 4 cautions with 50 laps to go that ruins it.
