Yeah you could see that, a stock clutch would've been toast the way the car was jumping after hitting every gear shift. Very nice reminds of my younger days!

Hey Frank, what's up with 2nd gear on these cars equipped with manual trans?

Last night I met a couple at the track with a Shelby GT500 and they claim the car was not all that crack up to be. When i asked them why, they informed me the 2nd gear on the manual transmission cars has some issues and that their car is on it's 2nd tranny.

According to what I have read, the transmissions are made by Americas favorite slave labor outsourcer (China). Not too happy to hear that.
The Shelby GT 500 trans are supposed to be Tremecs from our second most favorite outsourcer (Mexico) I guess you can technically call them American made. (North America)
Why don't they just install a Richmond trans at the factory and add the extra 2k to the price and be done with the problems.

Wow. I was not aware they were having the transmissions outsourced. Not cool. IMO they should be building the entire car to be bulletproof. Because if i buy one I'm certainly not going to ***** foot it.
