They only had them from 76(?)-82

I've currently got a 76 Eldo convertible, and would definitely trade it for an earlier Corvette or maybe a really nice Pace Car. I'd much rather have a 70 though cause of RWD and I'm guess the 472 would've had a lot more HP than a 76 500.

I'll be good to my buds and post theirs as well.

FLASHBACK Classic Cruisers ~ Club Gallery

Mine is the top right 1968 Mustang. Currently, with 90 awards, including 3 "Best of Show".

And yes...Each and everyone of them are driven...No "Trailer Queens"!

not sure about the HP ... BUT the 472 was getting about 17 - 18 mpg

it was doing as good as my 6 banger Ford Escape pushing almost 20 foot of steel

IMO the 70 had an ugly grill ... it was the end of an era for Cadillac

Last rear wheel drive Cadillac convertible and last year De Ville was a convertible.

I co-coordinated a couple car shows here in NC (with town's park manager)

Miss the fun of working the sponsorship stuff ... that's something I wish I could do as a job.

that would get me out of retirement PDQ

you are at the tail end of the season to get corporate sponsors ... they tend to commit to sponsorships in first quarter of the year ...

FYI - do not spend money on sponsor kit from Year One - it basically is you paying for the right to pass out their advertising.

also - make me an offer on helping might be interesting to attempt!
Is it part of the Roosevelt Dam Centennial Celebration?

that may be a good venue to do it with

I had thought about something like that for an orphanage here that the Shriners help support.

Some nice cars zonie. Cool to see the 73 Elky, 77 Aspen, and 76 Firebird since those era cars haven't really taken off with being restored yet.

I don't mind the grille on the '70 Cadillac, but I do prefer the one on the '69. It looked more detailed (and expensive).

Compare here...
'69

'70

And: '69 on the left; '70 on the right...
