Recently, I discovered some of Audi actually have auto dimming side exterior mirrors actually. I know a lot of cars have auto dimming interior rearview mirror, but this first time I heard of these auto dimming side exterior mirrors. How well do these auto dimming mirror work? I really move get glare off my side mirror.

Also, next question what kind of cars have auto dimming side exterior mirrors?

That's a damn fine idea. I want this feature. I hate always having to adjust and readjust my side mirrors in response to truck and SUV headlights reflecting in my eyes.

These have been around for a long time, heck Chrysler 300M's had them in the late 90's as well as a host of BMW's back to the E38's, etc. If you really want them, you can buy them aftermarket and put them on any car, but putting together a list of ones that do and don't have them is almost impossible as they were almost always part of an options package and not standard. Just do your homework next time you are looking for a car.

Our '07 Durango Limited's driver mirror auto dims, love it. Putting 20% tint on all of the windows helps too.

I knew a guy that tinted the mirrors too, said it helped at night.
