Car & Driver has the best writers and drivers; AutoWeek has the most up-to-date info.

I agree. C&D (Ive been subscribing for years) is the best. MT is close behind with R&T dead last, theyre too biased towards Japanese cars (especially Sam Mitani).

None of the above. I prefer CarCraft or Chevy High Performance. More of a classic muscle car/do it yourself mag - but still a car magazine.

I'd vote for AutoWeek, I like the timely racing coverage and they also do a good job with new car evaluations and other interesting features.

I liked C&D a lot more before they changed the layout of the magazine to help drive traffic to their web site. If I wanted an internet subscription, I wouldn't pay for them to send me a magazine in the mail.

You mean, more of a GM-fanatic-living-in-the-past-magazine. There is more to automobile life than '69 Camaro and '70 Chevelle SS rebuilds. But, hey, whatever makes you happy.

Yeah that's it, and no! No there is nothing more to automobile life. But hey they get into Ford's and Mopar's as well.

It defenitly fills a niche - do it yourself domestic muscle car crowd. For all these high performance cars that C&D and autoweek talk about - Carcraft is just waiting them to crash or age a little bit and fill up the car dumps so they can pull the engines out and stuff them into their late 60's El Camino.

I have a bias for Automobile because my dad was their banker when they first started in Ann Arbor. It's a bit more artsy than the rest, but the photography and the paper they use is top notch compared to the rest.
I always wanted to call their bluff on the job they offered me when I first joined the Navy in 1986 as a photographer. They told me I would have a job with them as soon as I got out, but that ended up lasting over 20 years... I should mention that to my dad though.. I'm sure they pay a little more than my current employer does

Ah, yes. The El Camino. I do miss my '70 El SS 396 four speed. What a fun car that was when I was 18. Oh well, I digress..........
