Watch out for this situation that happened to me the other day.
An individual attempting to break into my car claiming they had a call for a pop a lock, but not having contacted me (the owner) either in person or over the phone, and not having the plate number of the vehicle in question. Also claiming they have someone on their phone who can back up this claim while driving a car with a temporary plate (most in Texas are fakes) and their significant other along for the ride. It was reported but I'm not expecting anything to come of it.
This was once a famous issue for car thieves in my vicinity returned in the overdue 80s into the 90s...its probable making a comeback!
