I think I can answer this question...

Don't you know you can save yourself a butt load of $$$ by not having to visit your machine shop for a port and polish by using this method?

No...wait...I forgot IF you do try this you'll be visiting them anyways, but for more than just a port and polish.

On a serious note, I agree....the poster of that (notice that post was almost 10 years ago BTW) was obviously very bored and looking for a way to get a chuckle....or it's possible they really were that stupid and had the semi-kahunas to post about it. Either way I don't think their post was meant to be taken seriously.

There's another one floating around the internet where some kid claims they decided to build a VTEC engine in his basement but the only way out of the basement was up thru the floor in the middle of the house....and they were trying to figure out how to get the full assembled engine up thru the house and out to the car. Supposedly it was going to be hard for them to wheel a cherry picker in the house, down the stairs, load up and then back up the stairs again.

If this isn't a prank, the engine ran rough because the air filter got clogged with 12 lbs. of sand.

Sounds like Henry Ford, who had to knock down a wall to get his first car out of the garage because the door wasn't wide enough.

There are a dozen other similar threads on other car specific forums. I'm pretty sure they were all posted as a way to get a chuckle and rile people up.
