I have noticed that many rich pro football and basketball players here love the big land rovers. The fact that they dont last long before they are junk just shows that the rich can still afford them.
I know a guy who took me into his shop and showed me his 1935 Packard Dual Cowl Phaeton. Very nice, and somewhat rare car. Then he takes me into his paint booth and shows me a Sunbeam tiger he said was his kids piece of junk. He has several other Packards, but the 35 was the best.
All the rich people I know drive older cars, 10 years old or older and they are all nothing special like Chevys and Fords.
My wife retired from a local bank and she said that all the expensive cars were being least by rich want-a-be types. They were all just living paycheck to paycheck but they all had a "I deserve this" position.
audi is the same as volkswagen but with 3 circles on it. the jetta and a4 is the same thing
You really have no idea what you're talking about...Audi has FOUR linked circles.
As far as what wealthy people drive...
I don't know very many OBSCENELY wealthy people but the moderately well-off that I know often drive a nice pickup truck, F-150's and Silverado's are common, and usually the wife has a Cadillac sedan or maybe a Lexus SUV. They drive nice vehicles but not ostentatious ones.
My parents fall into the moderately wealthy category and my dad has a new F-150 while my mom drives a Cadillac SRX although in the garage IS a 1st-generation Corvette roadster.
Most of the moderately-wealthy are often small-business owners, quite a few farmers/ranchers I know, and a few doctors/lawyers/bankers. These people often don't care to show their wealth off but would rather re-invest it into their businesses or the market. They might have a "nice car" to drive on weekends or a collector car in the garage but their daily-drivers are usually just a Lariat F-150 or alike.
