Depends on WHICH parts,
The VIN is in 3 places on most cars. If you swapped ALL those parts.... I hope you have the NEW title, as it is a Different car. (There are about 2,000 OTHER parts you can swap and still have the SAME car)
Regarding 'Importing in pieces' and rebuilding from SCRATCH and titling it as a KIT car... That is the ONLY way we in the USA can get the great cars available in other countries. Not terribly popular or hassle free, but MANY do it.
4-motion TDI vr6 Passat Wagon... (I only know of 3 in the USA, and that is how they arrived... piece by piece.) Also Popular with original Mini-coopers, there is a storage yard nearby whwere a guy has about 50 of them in crates (all in pieces).
Regarding registering as a 'classic', also possible in USA (varies by state) BUT... in my state, you best ONLY be driving it in parades, as you get nabbed running an errand or commuting... OUCH ticket, EXPENSIVE ticket. (And our State offers "premiums" for squealing on your neighbors who might be driving with out-of-state, or classic plates.) Those folks USED to be called 'NARCS', but most anyone will do you in these days, it's as ez as an anonymous web tip (unless you want to CLAIM you reward,)

Illinois, where I started driving, is very strict. You can drive a car with antique plates to a car show, in a parade, or to a shop for service only.
Iowa is a little more lax; you can use a car with antique plates for "pleasure driving only". So a Sunday drive is okay, but don't plan on driving it back and forth to work while your other car is in the shop.
I wish all states were like Missouri. You can use a vehicle with antique plates for pretty much anything, but you are limited to 5,000 miles a year. But they only check it when you renew the registration (which I think is once every five years) so as long as you average 5,000 a year over that period you are fine.
If the VIN number is the same, it is the same car lol
