MrWill-E will-B talking nonstop about the made in America part. Hopefully this car is put into production, and can compete with the big three (Bugatti, McLaren, Koenigsegg)
Pretty cool, we'll see if it makes it into production...and if so, i'll be curious if business plan is really viable...but hey, who doesn't need another super expensive, super car
I wonder how long a 2,000 hp motor can go without major maintenance if this car is ever made and that's what's dropped into it. When someone buys a Hennessy venom gt and has problems with it, how is it fixed? They come to you or you ship it off for weeks?

When something goes wrong with your Venom GT John Hennessey personally arrives at your door to spit in your face and shout "Thanks for the money sucker!".

Seriously? Come on man, give the guy some credit, it wouldn't go down like that.
(First he'd offer to take it back to his shop to fix, then would sell the parts off of it before spitting in your face.)
A US Supercar, probably not. To be a Supercar like that of the Veyron it must be street legal and driveable on the street, like the Veyron. The Veyron can hit 200 mph but at an extreme cost. The tires and wheels can only make one run at 200 mph and then be replaced at a cost of $35,000.00 US. Today, there are no street tires that can make the wanted speed of 270mph. Maybe in the future but it's going to an expensive run. For the uniformed, yes, there are tires that can go that fast but they are far from street tires. Same for wheels. Remember, the tires and wheels are moving at 400 feet per second at 270 mph(that's 1.3 football fields per second). The tires are attempting to rip themselves apart from centrifugal forces and will actually grow in circumference at speed. Most HIGH speed race tires (250mph+) are solid rubber, hardly street capable.
Wanna see cars run the high speeds....and on the hiway? Check out the Texas Mile. We just had a run there a couple of weeks ago. Our car was neat but far from the fastest. We managed 167.4 with 800 Hendrix HP. In October, we'll be pushing 1000HP and see where that gets us. TEXAS MILE // OFFICIAL SITE // 3 DAYS, 1 MILE: NO SPEED LIMIT
