Price is 43,000 and should sound real instead of fake.

The purr of the engine in some 2015 Ford Mustangs may sound great, but it's not entirely real. The sound system on the four-cylinder Mustang EcoBoost "layer(s) in certain sound characteristics on top of what's already there," an engineer says, as Autoblog reports. The idea is to create a "natural experience": The car's engine processor adjusts the sound based on what the vehicle is doing.

Don't feel too slighted...........BMW uses the same trick on their $100,000+ M5, and it IS a V8.

BMW M5 plays engine sounds through speakers to make sure you know it

The car companies are trying to insulate the interior of the car to keep road noise out and as a result you can't hear the engine. Engine sounds are not important to luxury car owners but performance drivers want to hear the engine sounds.
My Mustang GT has a tube running from the air intake directly to an opening thru the firewall. Remove the tube and you can't hear the engine accelerate. It's not fake engine sounds it's just not insulated from the car interior.
