I'm having an issue with the driver's window on my 2010 Toyota Camry. All four windows have auto up and down functions. The other three windows are working fine. The window in question will go up to about 3/4 closed and then automatically go back down to about 1/4 open. I can get it to go all the way down by holding the button down, but cannot get it to go all the way up. Any suggestions?

It doesn't sound like your door switch has failed since the glass is going up and down at least a little. It sounds more like the glass is jamming in the tracks. Possibly the glass could be off track or your guide bushings could be broken.

Making sure. No visors installed into the glass channel? They skew glass on guides and may cause what HPR described.

Anti-pinch sensor, most likely. Probably not bad.. There's a long and painful procedure to reset the thing..

DIY Power Window Anti-Pinch Limit Switch Reinitialization (following window replacement)

There's a youtube video I haven't watched that shows the procedure on that link.

Power windows suck.. lol.. They're so convenient, but when something goes wrong..

No visors. A friend mentioned that it could be the regulator. Thoughts?
