I have a 2004 Chrysler Pacifica. Over the past 2 years it has stalled out maybe 8-10 times. Usually, I start it up, put it into reverse, and it will stall out as I am backing out of my driveway.

A week ago, I started it, put it into gear, pulled out (forward) of a parking spot and took a right hand turn onto a street and it stalled out. Yesterday, while backing out of a parking spot, it stalled out. Normally, when this happens, I just start the car again quickly and it starts up fine. Yesterday, I tried a couple times to start it (I think it was still in R, can't remember for certain) and it would try to start, but wouldn't. I put it into park, pushed on the accelerator, and turned the key and it started.

I checked the oil levels (they are full), I should've checked the other fluids, but will today.

Any ideas what to check?

2/2004, so looks like it doesn't affect it. I called Chrysler and they said the VIN has no recall notices for it.

Could be your idle speed. A low idle speed will cause the vehicle to stall. Also you cannot start a vehicle while it is in R, D, 3,2, or 1. It has to be in either park or neutral (P or N).
