I bought a brandnew honda pilot 2016 and when I called to activate the trial version for the sattelite radio they said that the radio had been activated last june 2015 and is currently on a promotion for 6 months wc will end this march 2016. Im having doubts that the vehicle is a preowned vehicle.. Help please...
What's the mileage? We went to the dealership for what were supposed to be new cars and some of them had 15,000 miles on them. We ended up with one that had 7 miles when we first took it out to road test it.
It is illegal to change the mileage on a car so that is a good gage as to how much it has been used.
Nobdy has said it, but maybe it was just a mistake on Sirius /XM side. Whats more likely, the theory this vehicle is used, or someone made a mistake at S/XM, or my theory, the OP misunderstood what he/she was told at S/XM. I do know when I bought my truck new, they told me I had to do the 6 month trial thing before I could change my package. Kinda pissed me off because one of the channels I normally listened to wasn't in the trial package.

I would say the satellite radio was activated by the dealer. A family member of mine recently bought a new Hyundai, and the salesman explained that Sirius radio was active for dealer demo, and that it should expire in 30 days. But sometimes customers report they have had it as long as 6 months. I bet that 6 months is the standard dealer promotion, and sometimes Sirius might not get notified that the car was sold and to end the promotion.

how many miles were on the car ? if less than 20 miles, don't worry about it . just tell the dealer to pay for the missing trial, as they must have activated it .
alright, then you bought yourself a used car. just be glad you probaly qualified for a "new" car interest rate.
That's not a used car by any stretch of the imagination. A car would get that much mileage if they traded for it from a semi-local dealer and drove it over.

108 miles makes it "used"? And I missed where OP said the car was bought on finance...
