Winter storm brings snow to East Coast - CNN.com

Go to Picture 20. (or 21 or 22 depending on the picture updates as time goes by)

That looks like a Nissan GT-R in the queue of cars between the BMW 7-series and the Dodge Dart, doesn't it?

I wonder what the heck it's doing in that kind of weather. Interesting.

Why not? I guess the owner has proper winter tyres on the car and not some crappy all-season tyres. A colleague of mine drives a 911 GT3 during the winter. It works fine with winter tyres.

Doesn't matter if it has AWD. A GT-R with sports tire can't even handle 2" of snow and it's low stance is not gonna go over 6" of snow. I would even take my sports car out of my garage into this weather. Rather not risk having some idiot slide into my car.

The ground clearance would definitely be an issue. I did have an AWD with 4" of ground clearance and with snow tires it would cut through about 18" of powder. It would high center on crusted snow however.
