Hey guys im trying to find it everywhere and just no luck finding it. the oil sending unit is bad. Its reading low PSI but the actual PSI reading is at 40 50 done from a professional shop. Says he needs to replace the PSI reader and he charging me about 300 which is a bit of a rip off in my opinion.

I did it on my jeep and it cost me 20$. I just cant find the part for the 1974 k10 chevy. I googled check LMC checked ebay and nothing

was wondering if maybe you guys have any luck? or maybe ium just using the wrong name?

Look up oil pressure sensor. I pulled it up. It should be located on the driver side ear the front of the block next to the front freeze plug. On later models it was below the distributor

Stop looking for a "PSI reader" and start looking for an oil pressure sending unit. Even though it's an older vehicle they used the same part for years so most parts stores will still have it in stock.

Your local NAPA store will probably have one in stock.
Ask for "Oil Pressure sending unit for 1974 Chevy K10 with 350 (or whatever) engine."
Personally, I would get a mechanical gauge kit and install it. In fact, I might be tempted to get the three gauge panel (Oil Pressure, Engine Temperature, and Ammeter) and install it under the dash! With lights, of course.
