We're halfway through the year and it Toyota Camry looks primed to be dethroned as the best selling non truck in the US market, a position it has mostly held since the late 1990s. The redesigned Nissan Rouge crossover is selling like hot cakes.

The Rogue is an excellent vehicle. The 2018 Camry redesign might swing things back, or not. Bottom line, you can't go wrong with either vehicle.

Camry is still the best selling mid sized sedan but the market is moving away from those vehicles. All vehicles in that segment have declining sales.

The CVT would kill any chances of me ever buying a Rogue.

They prop up the numbers by fleeting the heck out of both of these.
I consider the Accord to be the best selling car.

You can't compare those two cars for sales number, they aren't in a same category. One is a compact CUV and one is a mid size sedan.

Absolutely. Honda doesn't sell to fleets because of the diminished resale value of all those used vehicles flooding the market. That is why used Accord's sell for so much, they hold their value.

Same here. Rented one, didn't hate it. But the average Rogue buyer (woman in her 30's) probably has no clue what a CVT is.

My wife was set on a Juke until she discovered how much she disliked the CVT and body roll on a test drive.
