Car is not even detailed well. Engine bay is dirty. i could spot several blemishes on paint and door trim just by looking at pics. Truly, the way pics are taken, sun glare won't even let you see interior well.

I get it. It's your call. You asked. Nothing is worse than a 2 day one way drive to be disappointed.
Look at it this way. If it is meant to be yours, it will knock on your door. As in - you'll find one around the corner and for better deal. If not, you got an itch and should treat it like that. Scratch and forget.
Actually, nothing is worse than a 2 day one way drive to buy something that is not quite what was expected, but because you drove all the way there, you still buy it, just to find later it's junk. THAT is disappointment.
I guess that is true since I have seen 2018 XC60 arriving at dealerships. When is the best time to get the 2017 model before they more to the junkyard? Thanks.
Friend of mine asked me check car he was considering buying, he was ready to fly to pick up it. I went to the dealership, looked it up and advised not proceed with the purchase, it turned out it was rusted at the bottom, including all brake lines and what not. On top of that at the time I arrived they could not show the car because it was... at body shop, they were fixing "small scratch".
As mentioned above it is extra pressure when you already spent time and money and it may be not the best way to go.
Not sparkling clean engine may be a good way to see leaks and such, I was looking at Mercury while ago, the engine was dusty with even dry grass present, but it was DRY sand, no oil/coolant...
