ok, here's the scenario. i have a 2001 dodge durango. 98000 miles, never any major repairs. simple tune ups and oil changes keeps this truck runnin great. my engine light came on about a month ago. i had it scanned. turns out its an evap emmision leak(large). i put a new gas cap on and replaced both evap hoses.both hoses were pretty bad, needed it anyway. so now its still on and im stuck. any idea's? i'm wonderin if its the sensor?!!

Find a shop that has a "smoke machine". They can hook it up to the evap system and find the leak. There are so many places it can show up, so it's better that you have it done than trying to find it yourself by changing stuff out. You've done the easy part, just go the next step.

I had an 01 Ram and mine was the charcoal canister mounted on the frame. It developed a slight crack.
