i am looking for a vehicle currently and got a much different valuation on the car from the bank then i got with kbb and nada.

why was it so different then the other 2 sites, especially when the guy said he pulls values from nada.

for what its worth, they get the value by me giving them the VIN and the mileage of the car. any ideas?

Because nobody uses either anymore. The banks and dealers use the Black Book. No used car will rate Fine condition. The best you'll get is fair condition.

TrapperL is correct, they will use Black Book, possibly MMR and whatever CarMax's auction valuations are called. KBB is usually fiction, especially since Cox Automotive bought it.
