Buying a Dodge is your problem. The pentastar was neglected under diamler, and now back on their own they are cash straped like no other. No money for development of quality products equals no quality products. Buy a Honda Accord-made right here in America, Marysville, Ohio to be exact.

It's not a problem at all, this is my 3rd in a row, 5th altogether, never had any major issues with any of them.
I posted earlier in the thread about our T&C Van (almost a year ago). Really the issue wasn't with the Van itself. It was more of a problem of a $h*tty battery that went South and caused some collateral damage.
After that was fixed the van is fine. We haven't had any problems with it to speak of that are really the fault of the manufacturer. Overall we're happy with it. I had my reservations about it when we originally purchased it because I'm not a Chrysler fan and have heard horror stories. But honestly it has not been a bad vehicle and does the job it's intended to do. I has also been very reliable. Nearly 50k miles on the clock without any incident other than what I mentioned. We've been discussing what vehicle we want to have down the road after this and we keep coming back to another T&C.

My '03 Intrepid is at 155k miles and still runs like a top, even with the 2.7L ''sludge pit.'' Everyone told me to get rid of it @ 90k yet here it is, still running fine with its original powertrain. Interior has held up quite well, is still tight-- does not squeak or rattle whatsoever, and no electrical issues.
I would put this one up there with a Honda or Toyota if it were less maintenance intensive. Since I bought it (with 7k miles) it has needed 3 radiator fan motors (1 covered under warranty, 2 I did myself) and it is hard on the front end, including brakes and bushings.
Otherwise this car has run better with more miles vs every last one of my friends' and family members' GMs, Fords and Nissans. I still wish they made a new car on this platform because I would buy another in a heartbeat. I could get another with 6-7k miles for cheap, maintain it properly, and be ahead of the game the entire way.

I had an 81 Omni 024, an 86 D50 Pickup, a 92 Dakota pickup (had the 318 in it, hauled ass), an 01 Dakota 4x4, and my current 07 Charger. My dad had a Plymouth wagon and a 79 Monaco that lived a long life.
