I currently have a 1973 Cougar with a 351C that was rebuilt. The car has electronic ignition, a MSD Coil and Dual Flow Masters. Its not that fast cause it is still sporting a 2 BBL carb and it is basically stock, but it is loud and looks great. It has new paint, interior, roof, bumpers, and rims and tires. It is a great car to cruise in and show at local shows
I still would love to own a 68 cougar xr7 fully loaded. I once owned a base 68 cougar with only p/s & noisy after market (under the dash) a/c. I sold it 2 months after i bought it & bought a 68 olds cutlass supreme with p/s, p/b, factory a/c, tw, p/w & pds. It unfortunately was a money pit but i liked the car & owned it for a few yrs.
