He showed up again this morning I used to get so mad and irritated and frustrated when that little bright orange light would pop up in my dash.

Now I just smile. My little friend...the gas light. I just say to myself, need to get gas soon, will find the cheapest in town.

I am gonna say this, and I know you have heard it before. Don't sweat the small stuff. Mr. Gas Light, for me, now, is the small stuff.

I have such a huge thing going on in my life that riddles me with pain right now, that that little gas light just makes me smile. Hey Buddy! LOL

Naw. I am not crazy. Just understanding what needs to go where in my life, or trying to at least.

Do you sweat the small stuff?

You didn't ask, but, on any fuel injected car, you really should not let the gas get below about 1/4 tank, the fuel pump is cooled and lubricated by gasoline, when you have only a couple of gallons the cooling and lubricating ain't up to par.

Of course this is just a rule of thumb. Some cars may be OK below 1/4 tank. I don't know any way to find out except the hard way though...

Heh! Yeah i've heard that too mitch, and I beleive it, yet the fuel pump in my '02 Ram is still running strong and I constantly drive around on about an 1/8th of a tank.

Maybe I should go knock on wood now.
