The sad part is they're all going to Barrett-Jackson, so all the rich idiots with more money than brains can bid on them.
Then again maybe GM can cash in on this obvious failire....the Pope mobile.....built for the Pope and then they turned it down due to security reasons.

THIS would be my pick if Ed McMahon knocked on my door just before the auction
The Buick Blackhawk show car is a hand-built custom 2+2 convertible developed to celebrate Buick's 100-year anniversary in 2003. It's built from modified components and panels taken from various Buicks from 1939 to 1986. It includes a retractable carbon-fiber top, which is stored inside the deck-lid. The interior is hand-tooled using many 1996 Riviera pieces. It is powered by a 1970 vintage 455-cubic-inch Buick GS Stage III V8 engine. It produces 463 horsepower and 510 foot pounds of torque. The body is steel. This is a true show car and would not be street-driven unless modified and certified. GM executives say in a better market, it might bring $200,000 plus, but the current environment makes it a wild card at the auction

That is a killer car!! However what a waste of resources to build that thing, sure its not much but add up all the other stupid decisions they make and you have their current situation.

I agree...they have warehouse upon warehouse of stuff like this that they've blown money on.......I sure like that Buick tho'. The only problem I see with it is I'd have to wear a full face helmet when I drove it to keep the bugs from killing me because I think my head would be two feet above the windshield from the looks of it.
Gosh, I sure hope hubby doesn't catch a cold before he heads off to B-J this week. Otherwise they might think his sneezing or holding his nose is a bid........ darn shame it would be to end up w/ one of those babies
If I won the lotto just before this auction I'd need to head straight to the doc for an adjustment after my arm being stuck in the air
