I don’t remember the exact figure but paying $15 for inflight WiFi seems pretty expensive to me. Their 30 min and hourly rates are even more preposterous. But then, it is on par with their $10 sandwiches.

Yes, it is.. (Its also very slow connection),

But when you think of the technology need to do it I guess its not to bad.

But Normally is good all day for all flights you have with them that day.

There use to be a "Monthly" plan you could buy, but have not looked lately.

Most of my flights are business-related, so I can expense the wifi....

But honestly, it's so painfully slow that most often I can't even use it and didn't even bother purchasing it on a few flights

If people pay for it, it's not too expensive. And people don't want to go without their wifi.

I feel sorry for people that can't live without the internet for a few hours.

I am with AT&T. I should be able to use the onboard WiFi as part of my plan, much the same as traveling overseas. I know T-Mobile has some kind of a deal with Lufthansa under their HotSpot program but don’t know how it woks.

Too expensive. I just bring a book or an e-reader. It is good to relax and get away from the internet sometimes.
