What is it with Delta Airlines and planes leaving or heading to Atlanta, GA? Every other week Delta is in news about some incident; last time it was some woman who beat down a stewardess. This time a man, his gf and their dog fled a Delta plane while it was taxiing via emergency exit door.

If it's a Delta flight, the odds that it originates or terminates in Atlanta are rather good.

Yeah well if time comes have to fly down to Atlanta, GA will rethink using Delta. It isn't as if even flying in business or first class makes you immune to this nonsense since entire plane must disembark period.

Delta has close to 1000 flights a day to/from Atlanta. I think your odds are good.

Didn't know anything about Lake Worth, FL; a quick Google search told me everything I needed to know.

Your comment was thus right on the money!

Yeah, they were leaving NYC and the guy is a product of Fla....the "Florida Man!" At least nobody died of Covid on the flight though.

People like this should be banned from flying.

I used to live a few miles south of Lake Worth. This incident does not surprise me.

The saying in the US Southeast has long been- 'when you die, it doesn't matter if you're headed to heaven or hell; you'll have to connect through Atlanta first either way'
