Any parks/neighborhoods good for running? Safe for a single female?

That would depend upon where you live. If you lived near the Hopkins campus, you could run northwest along Wyman Park Drive, then along curvy San Martin Drive to University Parkway. You will be running in traffic, but because San Martin Drive twists and turns, the cars go rather slow. It's very scenic there, with woods and ravines on the left and the Hopkins campus on the right (as you run north). Then run on the sidewalk down University Parkway to Charles Street and then on the sidewalk down Charles to Art Museum Drive, past the Balto Museum of Art to Wyman Park Drive where you began. Woodsy, scenic, urban, and a safe area.

That's my suggestion and I'm sticking to it. You go, gal.

This post is related to your other one about apartments. Again, Patterson Park is a good running venue along with running along the water shore.

Druid Lake can be safe during a day time... wouldn't recommend on dark hours. Same sh*t with Leakin Park.

I agree I run the same paths. Either around Patterson Park or down the shore line off Boston St down to Fell's Point.

+1 for Lake Montebello, at least during the daytime. Pack some pepper spray though. There are a lot of muggings and rapes in Baltimore.

That's a great recommendation.

San Martin Drive is cool, but be aware that there are brief stretches where you'll still be in the line of traffic no matter how far to the side of the road you are. It isn't too daunting, given the road's curves and the slow speed limits that Zea mays mentions, but it's a little tricky at times.

I really like running up and down Roland Avenue. I also like Stony Run in Roland Park.

I've run around Lake Montebello several times - be prepared for some serious WIND if you do. When the wind blows across the water, there's nothing to stop it! It is also a neat place to run, though.
