Am on Verizon Friends and Family now. Family is mad at me and I need my own cell so she doesn't have to pay my part anymore !

Am considering Metro PCS and a Samsung Admire phone. Best Buy. You can get the phone there, as well as the minutes via internet. Also, someone said the minutes ROLL OVER each month, which would be great. Does anyone have this phone and/or MetroPCS? I think this might be a great deal.

Give T-Mobile a good look. Their prepaid plans seem to rock, and its kinda cool to have no extra fees, no extra charges. If I screw up and don't pay, then its on me and I'm not stiffed with any extra charges.

I have no use for Sprint, their plans are complex and ridiculous. With T-Mobile, I can call any phone, anytime ~ anywhere, I don't need to know who the other person's provider is, if its a landline or not, or look at a stupid clock.

T-Mobile offers a very decent $50 all you can use plan, or lately, has for $30, 1500 min, txt or talk; there may be some data in there too, but I don't need that right now.

$50 unlimited with no BS? Uh, I think so. And after five years with the company, I can say their customer service has been 95% wonderful. Their phones don't suck either. Also, if your economic situation gets dicey, they give you the option to switch between the monthly prepaid, or straight prepaid, if you need to just get a $10 phone card or something due to being broke. eBay has many phones you can use with T-mobile available, because after you have a contract phone with T-Mobile, you can use it anyway you want, so if you go on eBay, you can wind up with a pretty spiffy phone, cheaper than contract cost, and use it with a prepaid situation.

Hope this has helped, and I hope you give T-Mobile a chance.

PS: I live in Georgia and a friend with Metro PCS has had nothing good to say. When they travel, coverage is unreliable at best in some areas. Never had that problem with T-Mobile.

PSS: Think carefully about those plans where its $1/per day on the days you use it. This can add an extra $30 or so to your plan. Why would you want to pay that much extra on a monthly plan when you're already paying them. Most people check their phones at least once a day, so that's just a rip. Seems to me . . .

PSSS: With T-Mobile prepaid, after you spend your first $100 in prepaid time (whether all at once, over the course of months), you get an extra 15% time every time you refill, so if you're able to buy a $100 card, its like an extra 6 minutes, and also, the minutes don't expire for a year, so that's kinda better than a rollover, maybe?
