Will need to go to Hippodrome next Saturday for a 5pm show. Is there any free/cheap street parking within 10mins walking distance? Last time I was there I parked in a garage on South St. for $5 whole day, but it was a solid 15mins walk. On my way back I thought I saw some street parking available (on W. Fayette St maybe, can't remember clearly).

Need more than 2hr parking (need 3-3.5hr)

Many thanks.

There is a parking garage right behind the Hippodrome, on Paca St. north of Baltimore St. (There's also an entrance on Fayette St. before Paca St.) There's also a garage on Baltimore St. east of Eutaw St. It shouldn't take you more than 5 minutes to walk from either of them.

Street parking is available on both sides of Baltimore St. and on both sides of Eutaw St. and on both sides of Paca St. It's also available on the left side of Fayette St. I don't know how busy it would be on a show night, but I would think you'd have to get there early to get a spot.

Around the University of Maryland Medical Center, which would be a 10 minute walk, I believe there are pay to park spots that don't require payment after 6 pm.
