Whatever happened to scrumptious Maryland fried chicken? It's been ages since I had any really good chicken, even though Maryland was famous for it. Once in India, I even encountered Chicken Maryland on the menu -- fried chicken with bananas. The bird had died a long way from home.
So where is a restaurant that has the best chicken?

Though I've never gotten food from it, I've heard that some of the best fried chicken in the area can be had at a place called Tyrone's Fried Chicken.

I've had really good luck with Nick's on Washington Boulevard. And I don't even like chicken...but I'll eat his. Both the fried and the rotisserie are excellent. Good fried fish sub, too.

Sunny's in Northwood Plaza is pretty good but the best fried chicken is at my house LOL. Everyone who has ever had it said that I ought to open a restuarant. I have a name for it but that's about as far as it gets.

In the 800 block...half a block up from the coffeehouse on the opposite side of the street. He sells out quickly -- there's a demand.
