Finally, the casino has opened, and we will be in Baltimore soon....who can tell me BJ mins. and drink info? Is it like Vegas, or Atlantic City....or something else?

Vegas gives you pretty much any drink, as long as you're in the casino....Atlantic City is stingy, and gives draft beer and crappy drinks IF you're actually at a table game.

On a Thursday night, can I find a BJ table at a $10-5 min?

Any info appreciated!

Thanks!

Went on a Saturday.

A few $15 mins, mostly $25 for blackjack.

Free drinks? Hahaha. Maryland law prohibits free drinks.

Ambiance felt like AC...or Detroit.

The Binion's Steakhouse did look pretty good, and I got a 40% off coupon in the mail..

No comps and no free drinks. They call that a casino? At least Atlantic City and Las Vegas give decent payouts. Horseshoe can't pay out much because they pledged all the money to the state politicians.

Here is how well it's doing:

To be fair, a rice crispie treat themed restaurant is kind of a hard sell...

No freebies but they do sell 16 oz. Miller Lite cans for $3. Blackjack minimum bet on the weekend is typically $25. Great restaurants all around and the entertainment is pretty good too.

I'm banning myself from Horseshoe for a while since I've had a big losing streak, but all in all I think it's pretty good. Better than Maryland Live.

Total ripoff! No free drinks, no comps. No deals on food, or drinks-other than roto-broil hot dogs. Pay outs are lower than anywhere I've ever seen, same as the MD lottery.
$25 minimums? Gimme a break. Never going back, and I live less than 10 miles away. No wonder this place is way below projections.
AC? Hell, Tunica is a better deal!

No way they offer free drinks.. they would be out of business overnight.. Now if they dont do it in High Roller section and comp players drinks.. then THATS a problem for sure.....

They need to add boxing or a concert venue like Maryland Live in there or something to draw in a more diverse audience that is interested in spending money but not just on gambling
