Every time I go to a game at Yankee Stadium, I notice that the terrace and grandstand seats in left field are almost completely empty, with maybe 5 people sitting in each section. On one occasion, section 434B (the very last nosebleed section in left field) was completely empty for more than half the game before a couple of people arrived up there. It's weird to me, because the terrace and grandstand seats in right field are almost always full, and they're only 4 feet closer to the action than the same seats in left field. In the playoffs it would probably be a different case, but I always wondered this. My friend says the seats are always empty because nobody buys tickets there because they don't want to sit so far away, but then why would the right field upper deck seats be so full if that was the case? I generally sit in the main level in right field, but I've sat in that area before and it wasn't bad at all to me. Does anyone else notice this, and if so, why do you think that is the case? Is there a huge difference between upper deck seats in right field compared to those in left? The concourse in that area must be a ghost town. The field and main level seats in left field are always full, but it's the terrace and the grandstand that are so empty all the time during the regular season.
