forget the bench, ill just list the starters.

PG Ricky Rubio
SG James Harden
SF Nicolas Batum
PF Kenneth Faried
C Serge Ibaka

Rubio for the creativity and assists.
Harden for pure scoring.
Batum for scoring and size at his position.
Faried as a dominant rebounder/hustle type.
Ibaka for inside center presence blocking shots rebounds.

I believe this could be a 55 plus win team.

Good group of young players. I don't know about championship calibre that would depend on how they continue to improve as none of them are likely at their peak yet.

I think the defense of the smalls is a little questionable for an "elite" team.

I agree that you have scoring and rebounding.

I'd put that roster one notch behind OKC but again, you've got a number of guys there that are still getting better so they'd certainly be a team to watch.

It's a pretty good group. I could see a team like that being 5-4th in their conference.

A better team would be

Steph Curry
Klay Thompson
Rudy Gay
Larry Sanders
Demarcus Cousins

I think they are a bit undersized, and perimeter defense all but non existent.
Very 2006 suns IMO.

That last team mentioned is garbage IMO.
Cousins?

Sanders is a decent shot blocker, but he isn't really a man to man defender, and his offense is terrible!

Curry is fine except those jacked up feet, can his skinny ass stay on the court?

Thompson is ok, not even top 10 in his position IMO.

Gay, again no defense and on a slide the past few seasons.

Why does everyone want a flashy team with ho-hum defense and think they're winning rings?

Rigas, because it sells tickets man and it's exciting.

But that's not the ingredient for championship basketball.

Back in the 80s and 90s, teams could score a lot and still play great defense.

Guards are weak to semi-weak on defense...

Anyone think Greg Monroe and Andre Drummond are on the upswing? I see a lot of potential between the two of them....

I think my original 5 before injury was just as good if not better:

Curry
Thompson
Rush
Lee
Bogut

I think the current situation in LA proves that Howard doesn't work well as a secondary player especially when the other leader is outspoken so this might not work. Or maybe Kobe is just the issue.
