If you were in a Game 7 in the NBA Finals, you had Dwight Howard as your starter, but you could also sign Hakeem Olajuwon (in his current form) for one game, who would you choose?

Um, isn't Olajuwon like 50?

Not sure how you can compare because you said in his current form.

A 50 year old center with a bad back and probably bad knees would be clutch?

If you have Dwight as your starter and can sign Olajuwon, you can sign him and use them both, but this is still pointless.

They already can sign him. They can also sign MJ, Shaq, TMAC, Joe Hammond and Pee Wee Kirkland....They can sign me if they wanted. Guys who chose to retire aren't going to come back for 1 game to "be clutch"

Edit: But for argument's sake, if he were to come back, without even college-level conditioning, or practice, he would get embarrassed by whomever he was playing against from the East whether it be Noah, Hibbert, Lopez/Garnett, Chandler, hell even Birdman/Bosh. He might fare well against Aaron Gray but I don't think Aaron Gray is headed to the Heat or Pacers any time soon.

At some point, when you hate a guy bad enough you just start looking ridiculous in your complaints about him.

Maybe if you mentioned giving Hakeem 2 years to get in shape and I'd only need him to play his heart out for the last 10 minutes...

Prime vs Prime - the best big man in today's game can't lace the sneakers of most of the 90's great centers.

Ok, I get that he's old but he's just goofing with a bunch of kids in a gym in that video. He doesn't have the personality of Kobe where he feels like he needs to dominate every little kid that comes along to make some sort of point.
