Me personally, and I'm by no means a great judge of talent nor am I athletic in my own right, I think with A LOT of work, within 5 or 6 years he'll be a multiple time All Star and a top 5 or top 10 player, he's got all the tools to do it.

I definitely agree! This kid's a beast. He's got the physical tools, incredible athletic ability, and just needs more playing experience. It's scary how good he could be if he continues to work on his game and improve. Unfortunately he plays for the Bucks and they would be wise to build a team around this guy. He is their franchise player and with a couple of good draft picks, they could make some noise in 5 years as well.

1. Maybe. He had a decent rookie year but that's an awful lot of speculation.
2. If it takes 5-6 years and he's developing nicely he probably won't stay playing for that crappy team.
The reason everyone is so excited about him are his combination of tools that are hard to find a comparison for....6'10 kid (still growing) with good ballhandling, gets down the court in a blink, has point guard instincts, can finish at the rim with ease even in traffic, has shown potential with his jumper...plus he loves the game and seems dedicated to becoming as good as he can be.
Also, calling the Bucks a "crappy team" might be accurate looking at recent years, but smart new ownership committed to building a championship level team within the next 5-10 years and a #2 pick in this year's draft to pair with Giannis give them a great foundation. We'll see what happens, but I'd put money on them being a very respectable, if not great, team in the near future.
