my spurs have 19, while cleveland, okc, chicago, LAC,LAL, all have more. and warriors have 19 also.
it really sucks if youre a griz, celtics, bucks, magic, philly, or jazz fan, they all have 0 or 1 nationally televised game this season.

Hey, anybody remember Sesame Street?
One of these teams is not like the others....one of these teams does not belong....
^^^ yes, why is it the Lakers get 20 games but the Celtics only only get one? Both legendary teams are below average this year.
All about ratings. I guess lotsa people like to root both for and against the Lakers and of course there is the kobe factor. They'd didn't pick the Lakers by accident.
Me personally, I have no interest in tuning in to watch the Lakers this year.
I'd rather watch Philly and at least see how Embiid is developing.

I think it also has to do with the PST time slot....the Warriors used to get a few of those TNT second-slot games in their down years simply for being a West Coast team. I do think the Celtics have enough national fans to warrant more than one game for the season, still.
