One of the other threads was discussing the great finishes... this is still the greatest game I can remember.

1976 NBA Finals Game 5 - Boston 128, Phoenix 126 (3OT)

It's the 40th anniversary this year of this game, so there was an article that recalled what took place.

There are videos there if you have never seen it. The end of the second OT is bananas.

I like the commentators back then. So electric. And I wasn't expecting the fight, or that last shot to go in.
