Hey guys im looking for new shoes and stumbled on some weird modells with soles almost going sideways into the shoe (as seen on the picture). Is this just for optics and entertainment etc. or does it actually have and effect on you when you roll your feet after landing to prevent injuries etc. ? Im curious

My guess is it's cosmetic. Seems like they would have done that by now if it was of any benefit.
