The object of the game is still putting the ball in the basket. Jordan is arguably on another level when it comes to that. As far as all around game, in the playoffs, Jordan was often #1 or #2 on his team in assist and rebounds. That combined with a scoring load of 33.4 ppg on 50% shooting is what makes him the GOAT.
Not really. Through 31 years old Jordan was a 34.4 ppg scorer in the playoffs on 50% shooting. Lebron is a career 28 ppg scorer on 48% shooting. I'm not sure that's even comparable. Assist are about equal with Lebron averaging an additional 2 rebounds
I would say that Lebron's numbers are more on par with Bird at 31...
24.5 ppg (48%) vs 28.0 ppg (48%)
56% TS vs 57% TS
6.4 apg vs 6.8 apg
10.7 rpg vs 8.8 rpg
1.9 spg vs 1.8 spg
3.2 to vs 3.5 to

Are there stats for "important" rebounds? Many times, someone gets a rebound when he has 2 or 3 teammates right next to him, and no enemies in the area (they retreat to half-court defense), so it really doesn't matter who gets the rebound. Other times someone crashes the board and gets a pivotal rebound (like Kyrie grabbing his own miss and putting it in last night).

I am guessing Lebron's averages would be higher had he gone to college and started his rookie year a couple years older and bigger, faster, stronger.
Coming out of high school helps your career total numbers but sinks your averages.
You should Google the definition of the word fact.
you should google the definition of clueless and then look in the mirror
