Duke will be taking the ride down HGWY 15-501 for a date @ North Carolina this sunday. Tyler Hansborough's last game at the Dean Smith Dome, I know UNC wants to win this one for him, but I also believe Duke wants to spoil it, and since Duke can't beat UNC in Cameron anymore, this is a good oppurtunity for them to gain some momentum headed into post-season play. Big game for a standings standpoint as well, If UNC wins, they grab #1 in the ACC Tourny no ?'s asked.

Duke IMO, did not play well against FSU the other night. I wasn't too impressed with the 'Heels against VT either. Both did win, but both looked rather rusty.

I'm going to make my prediction, I think Duke is going to pull it out, not by much, but they come away with a win. Well, whatever the final score is, here's to hopefully a damn fine game between these two "neighbors".

Have at it, but please do keep it clean, thanks!

Hey 'Canes! Another point to this game is that if UNC wins, they win the ACC regular season outright, so that's another motivating factor. I'm gonna go out on the limb and say that UNC will pounce on the Dukies and win by around 10 points. Go 'Heels!

It's very disappointing that there aren't many Carolina or Duke fans on here.

I think we have more on this this forum than you might think, they just don't come by this sub-forum often I guess.

I'm sure though if either team goes far later this month, we'll see a few more.

So much for that prediction. My take on Duke is that they need more power under the basket, Zoubek is not the guy to do it. UNC was getting better rebounding chances and second-chance points.

Congrats X! Not a bad prediction either, 79-71 is the final

haha... I was close! It was a great game to watch. I enjoyed all the clutch shots. As always, another great UNC vs. Duke game. Cheers!

P.S. Credit to Duke, they fought till the end. Good game!

I'm a Tech fan and my other two favorite ACC teams are Maryland and BC (I have no problem with Miami either). It's a shame that Duke and UNC could didn't play ten OT periods just to have Swofford come in and declare them both losers. To end on a positive note, I thought the game was entertaining (I still hoped for ten OTs and a draw).
