Thoughts about what?

On Tuesday we went to Kona to the dentist, and stopped in at KTA to stock up on canned goods. The clerks wore gloves, but other than that no one seemed to be doing anything different than normal. Of course, I used my homemade hand sanitizer quite liberally.

Farmers markets have been closed down, but we have the vendors' phone numbers so we can still get fresh produce.

We are hoping the tourists stay away!

Awesome, Dreaming! I've been planning for a few years to move there. Love it there. It's my natural habitat. Hoping end of June may work. I'm getting offers on my home here and trying to buy some time.

To answer your question, thoughts about what. This forum is more intelligent and normal compared to other social media. (with the exception of the bigliesland freak). I want to move forward with my move. That's all. It's theoretically three months away, so I'm hopeful. The BI is home for me.

You’ll arrive just in time for the biggest economic collapse since the Great Depression

Whether here or there, if it's going to happen, I'd rather be there, whtviper1.

If you can bring a pension or some other source of income that isn't job dependent, that could be a good thing.

We are hunkered down here in OV. A great place to be hunkered down.

Food, water, ammo and all other necessities are stocked up.

Hoping Harry Kim will shut down BI and maybe we can get the visitors to go back home for a while.

As money runs out - I do expect, on all the islands - property crime to rise dramatically.

Toilet paper thieves?

I can't imagine a whole lot of people will be getting shot over property crimes.

We're all in this together. The ammo is for shooting pigs.
