I am moving to Boise, ID and have family in Lewiston, ID and in Tri-Cities, WA... I'm moving up there in the winter and want to know what the road conditions will be like around the end of November for Thanksgiving?

Don't know about Boise-Lewiston, but Boise-Tri-Cities has a good chance of being a problem. The first time you ever drive that in any season, you will absorb this because of the very large and numerous areas set aside for putting on tire chains, signs for snow warnings in season, etc. You know that at least during some time of winter, those mean business. While the Blues aren't really high mountains, they can get a lot of snow and ice, especially up above Pendleton leading to LaGrande.
