Hello,
After looking around, we're noticing that homes are selling super fast in the Treasure Valley. We would like to find a temporary rental and move so that we can see the homes right away. I"ve tried CraigsList and Air B&B and there aren't temporary rentals on CL that fit our family size for short term. Air B&B same problem and some lady was asking 15,000 for a standard rental? Is there any corporate housing or apartments that rent month to month in the area? We are loving the beauty and friendly people here!
Thanks!
Check with multiple property managers since they typically do not network with each other. Expect to pay more for less than six months rental period.
As your Realtor to check with their property management contacts and their previous investors to see if they have any openings that might work for your time frame and budget.
I have been tracking rental availability for multiple clients that are moving here. If you have pets or smoke expect even more difficulty in renting.
We had a hard time finding a decent rental in Boise six years ago,
and when we finally found one we could afford that would fit us all,
we got ripped off by the property manager to the tune of $600.
Why?
Because they can.
It's not easy anywhere, but some places are much worse than others.
Treasure Valley is dog-eat-dog.
