We plan on moving up to Boise this Summer. We have narrowed the neighborhoods down to Hidden Springs and Indian Lakes. We want to rent for a year or two while we establish our business but a previous poster got me a little worried. We have three dogs, two small dogs and one large dog. I have searched for HOA rules in both subdivisions with no luck to see how many dogs we can have. My dogs are cleaner than 90% of the people I know. We have a Bouvier des Flanders, an English Bulldog, and a Chihuahua. No cats, though. I used to hate cats but now I love them. I have a recipe that makes them taste JUST like chicken.

Hidden Springs appeals to our family because we have a farm here in GA where we have about 50 chickens, 13 horses, donkeys and other farm animals. Love the farm life but we are not REAL farmers and having to work and keep up our farm is killing us physically and financially. We have 43 acres right now with most of it in grass so I am looking forward to having just a little bit of grass to cut. Sunday I will spend the entire day cutting our back field. I'd rather be mountain biking or hiking or fly fishing.

So, anyone here know how many dogs we have? I promise if we move up there we will leave the horses and chickens behind, although I would really like to bring my Kubota tractor.

After reading this thread yesterday, my husband and I we to check out Hidden Springs today. BEAUTIFUL Houses! HUGE. Very close together. Loved how far it was from the city but close enough to be convenient. We aren't looking to buy a house for another year or so. I did see dogs, lots of them but still don't have an answer to your question.

Hey, Outside Dan. I asked a colleague of mine who lives in Hidden Springs as I couldn't find anything in the Hidden Springs CC&RS. He said, "Hidden Springs CC&Rs dierect that all matters related to animals are per Ada County regulations. See adaweb.net." I looked on the Ada County website and couldn't find this. I would call the Ada County Development office and see what they say about number of pets. Indian Lakes is an older area. I can't imagine a problem with three dogs there.
