Hi all.

I need to buy some fake/artificial plants that are relatively tall (5+ ft). I looked at Walmart/Target, no luck there, it's not a common item, but I really need them for my back yard improve the privacy.

Does someone know of some store that sell this kind of item?

They look like this: (the middle one):

Thanks!

Wouldn't live potted plants last better outside than silk ones? That said if you insist on artificial, I would look at Home Depot or Lowes or a store than specializes in patio furniture and accessories for this kind of thing, maybe Christmas Tree Shop too.

I have a couple of fake plants of that size inside my house (the wife and I have black thumbs so the only thing that survives our care are fake plants). I think I got them at Michael's. You might also want to check out Home Goods or there are probably places you can order them online I would imagine.

However, I would echo what 495 has said. Real plants will do a lot better outdoors and will last a lot longer. If you want privacy, nothing beats a row of arborvitaes. Most nurseries sell them at 5 ft tall and they offer excellent screening.

Agree on Michaels and Christmas Tree Shop, but also agree on getting the real thing. The fakes are going to look beyond bizarre from October - April.
